DB Snatches and Ring Push-ups

Running, dumbbell snatches, and ring push-ups today. Two movements we don’t do that often paired with a regular one. Ring push-ups can be done horizontally or at an angle to scale. The more vertical you are, the easier it will be. Concentrate on keeping a solid, locked trunk position and strong shoulder.

The workout should take 10-15min, tops. Do some bench and GET IT DONE!

Workout of the Day


5min jump rope


2 rounds of:
-10 wall angels
-10 ring rows
-10 push-ups
-10 bootstrappers


Bench press 5×3 E3M


5 rounds for time:
-200m run
-5 DB snatch (1/1)
-10 ring push-ups

RX: 35#/55#
Zone 3: 25#/45#, angled ring push-ups
Zone 2: 20#/25#, regular push-ups
Zone 1 – scale as needed

*15min time cap


Banded lateral opener – 2min/side

Roll/smash shoulder/pec
