CrossFit Zone athletes truly are the best.  Their dedication and passion for being the best they can be deserve recognition.  And so we’re doing just that!   Every month, we’ll showcase CrossFit Zone athlete’s accomplishments.

Over the last few months, we have had some amazing  accomplishments!  So here are a few of many!

  • Rob MacKay – first muscle up
  • GI Jo – first kipping pullup
  • Theresa – first kipping pullup
  • Mehul – Deadlift 375lbs
  • Jen – Passed her POPAT test
  • Eric – 30 kipping pullups and a Muscle up
  • Jonathan – Passed his PARE test
  • Rob S – first muscle up
  • Tara – Got lots of new PR’s on her lifts: Deadlift 195lbs, Front Squat – 140lbs
  • Jeremy – 1:26 500m row
  • Tom – 10 muscle ups (from 3 or 4)
  • Kathy and LeaAnne – both got a 185lb deadlift!
  • Colleen – really stepped up her game and the gym the last month with too many personal records to count!
  • Sean F – FGB total 322

Way to go CrossFit Zone Athletes!  There are many more accomplishments out there.  We are so proud of you! If there is an accomplishment that you are very proud of, please let us know and we will showcase you in October!

Today’s Workout:

Buy In- Burgner Warmup x 3

WOD – “Joshie”

Elite – 3 rounds for time:

* Dumbbell snatch, 21 reps, right arm (25/40)
* 21 L Pull-ups
* Dumbbell snatch, 21 reps, left arm (25/40)
* 21 L Pull-ups

The snatches are full squat snatches.

Zone 3 – Scale L-Pullups to regular pullups

Zone 2 – Scale Pullups to assisted pullups; Dumbbell snatch 15/25

Zone 1 – 3 rounds for time:

* Dumbbell snatch, 15 reps, right arm
* 15 Jumping Pull-ups
* Dumbbell snatch, 15 reps, left arm
* 15 Jumping Pull-ups

Scale dumbbell snatch as needed.

Cash Out – block run followed by a thorough full body stretch
