L-sit Results!

Hang in there Soley!

Way to go team, you made it through the month of lots of time spent in the L-sit.  Try to keep up this skill as much as possible as it is very important to build up core strength which will transfer into helping with all the CrossFit movements!

Here are the results for the month:

Average increase: 8.69 seconds
Longest Female time: Lindsay McCardle 43.19 seconds
Longest Male time: Cam McLean 47.43 seconds
Most Improved Female: Asha Johal with 63% improvement in her knee tuck, this is an increase in her time by 40.46 seconds
Most Improved Male: Jesse Baranieski with a 71% improvement, this is an increase in his time by of 27. 07 seconds

 

UPDATE: ZONE OPERATING HOURS FOR THIS COMING WEEKEND

Friday, July 13th – 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. Lifting Class, 12:15 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. classes ONLY.  The 5:30 p.m. class is CANCELLED.
Saturday, July 14th – 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. classes running, 11:00 a.m. Intro class is CANCELLED.

Today’s Workout

Buy in – coach led dynamic warmup followed by Split/Push Jerk technique

WOD – Jerk (3,3,2,2,1,1,1)

Find your 1 RM!

* You are allowed to use a rack!

Zone 1 – work on technique with 5 x 5 reps

Cash Out – 5 minutes of max Man-Makers!  Oh yesssssssssss!
