Have you ever done the Benchmark workout JT? JT is a very challenging benchmark workout because you are using the same muscle group primarily for all three exercises. This workout is meant to be completed in 15 minutes or less. Please be careful when scaling this workout if you are not used to doing 135 reps for your chest and triceps. Some ways to scale this workout are by doing assisted movements in the ring dip and pushups, or subbing in another movement such as pullups, situps or squats to give your triceps a bit of a break. Please ask your coach for the best way to scale your workout if needed.
Workout tip: When you start the workout, you will feel like a racehorse, but that will change very quickly. Don`t go to failure on any of your sets because it will take too long for the muscles to recover and be able to perform reps again. Say you are able to do 10 reps housebroken, drop that to 6 reps, take a quick breather and then get back at it.
