Polar Bear Swim 2013

I don’t know if there is a better way to work on Mental Toughness than jumping into freezing cold water for a Polar Bear swim.  Come join the Zoners on New Years day to take part in the Kool FM’s Polar Bear swim.

If you’re unfamiliar with the “Polar Bear Swim”, then pretend it’s like a WOD – just show up, participate and have FUN.  If you’re familiar with the “Polar Bear Swim”, then show up, question why you showed up, participate and have FUN! Another option is to show up and cheer on the “crazy people”.

If you have a suggestion for a team costume, then let’s hear it! Please let me (Billie Jane) or one of the coaches know if you need a car pool ride out to Elk Lake. Parking is limited at the lake so we’ll plan to leave some time before 1pm. The “show” starts at 2pm this year.

Teams of 2: – One partner works at a time, split reps up w/partner however you want except both partners must run 400m each time together.
