So you think you can swing a Kettlebell?  Well, perhaps you can.  But let me reassure you that there’s always room for improvement!

The key to a good Kettlebell swing is a strong hip snap.  Take a look at this video that breaks down the idea of a strong hip opener into a couple simple movements that you can practice:

Take some time to perfect that swing and get it just right for today’s WOD!

Today`s Workout:

Buy In – Deadlift 5 x 5 reps, increase weight each set.

Then, take 10 minutes to warm up to your squat clean WOD weight.

Following in the trend of last week, we are going to give another .com workout a try.  Don’t worry, this one is nowhere near as long as the one last Monday.  Have fun gang!

Five rounds for time of:

  • 7 Squat Cleans (105/155)
  • 14 Kettlebell swings (35/55lbs)

Zone 3 – scale Squat Clean to 95/135)

Zone 2 – scale Squat Clean to 75/105, scale KB to 20/35

Zone 1 – scale as needed

Cash Out – Follow the leader stretching!
