Congratulations Zoners, we have made it to the last week of the 2013 CrossFit Open! Currently our downtown team is sitting in 30th place with 25th place 6 points ahead of us and 31st place 23 points behind us. The Top 30 go on to Regionals, but not to worry…. if we give everything we have and leave nothing behind I really think we will have a fighting chance. Make sure to keep your body healthy and limber over the next few days and not do any movements that you know will put you out of the game. This is the week that you may want to redo the workout to get a better score for the team.
We had a post back in December outlining what you will see in the Open based on the last couple of years and so far the movements have been consistent. So what have we not seen yet? Pullups, Pushups, and Overhead Squats. A 10 minute Cindy with chest to bar pullups, hand-release pushups and overhead squats??? That is mine and Colleen’s best guess 😉
So what do you think it will be? Do you think HQ will throw thrusters and chest to bar pullups at us? Let’ s here your thoughts in the comments section.
Remember to keep this Sunday afternoon open for our CF Open wrap up party to thank all those judges, cheer leaders and volunteers for both locations. It starts at 1:00pm at Pembroke and we will be firing up the BBQ with burgers and smokies for you, so please bring a potluck item to share with the group.

Retract that statement. Think it’ll be shuttle runs, bar muscle ups and another movement for 20 min amrap.
Shuttle runs are hard to film so I would be surprised if they were included……
Max double unders in 30 minutes. I hope your judges can count…
That is very interesting Sean. He did say it has not been done at regionals or on the mainsite, but there are infinite amount o f workout combos that have not been posted. It could still be a fran type wod 🙂 There are some interesting ideas in the comments section of the post. I guess it depends on how you i interpret the video.
what a ridiculous interview from Castro! Could you get more ambiguous?? It's going to be tough for good crossfitters and even tougher for great crossfitters? Never been done before? I like the Cindy variant mentioned earlier, but I feel like whatever it is has to have thrusters in it somewhere.

I think during the post interview for 13.4, Castro may have slipped up cause he said next week 12.5 then corrected himself. So could be just a typical Castro trolling, a legitimate mistake or a slip up.
