A Poll – Coach Deanna’s nick name!

CrossFit Victoria BC - coach Deanna
Angry Kitten or D-Train?

Hey Team, so there has been some controversy lately on what my nickname should be…. I was given the nick name of “Angry Kitten” back in January by Bones boyfriend the first day that he met me. I was doing my deadlift max and he seemed to think the nick name really fit. But there has been some discussions lately saying that my nickname should be “D-Train.” This nickname came out around Christmas time one night at a friends house.

Please let me know what my nick name should be! Unfortunately I am not allowed to choose it, so it is left to all of you CrossFit Zoner’s to decide.

  1. Baahaha love how the controversy made front page news….see you all tomorrow eve! PS “Dee-Train” sounds more badass….

  2. Krista (KDF) :)

I think we need to hear more of the reasons why…we can’t pick a name if we don’t know the context!

  3. Well hmmmmmm my friend Dougie was sitting at home one day and asked me how D-train was doing and now its catching on, but D-train is being used by many that are not memebers of CrossFit Zone (losers!!) so if its CrossFit Zone specific then it cant be D-train and would have to be angry Kitten……but at the same time she cant be called Angry Kitten because SHE HATES CATS! So I think we should leave this call up to Dougie who came up with D-train to begin with!

  4. Angry Kitten because it happened at Crossfit while working out… unless you were doing the WOD at your friend’s house…

  5. Shannon (Bones)

Angry Kitten! Rob named you that because it suits your personality. You have this really sweet way about you, and look like a tiny, always smiling woman, but yet you can really bring the ruckus in the gym and do amazing feats of unexpected strength. It reminded Rob of an angry kitten that looks so small and innocent, but has the spitfire in her belly! Unexpected, and impressive. Suits you to a ‘T’!

D-Train has been done before, man. Not personality specific!

  6. Shannon (Bones)

You’re lucky, because I’m thinking that A-Pole should be your nickname! I’m going to call you that secretly, out of love… 😉

  7. totally down for AK but after the weekend I really think that “A-Pole” is starting to stick hahah, can’t she just have both?
