Design the Team Jerseys

Last year when we were at the CrossFit Games, we were blinded by green and orange in the crowd.  There were two specific affiliates that had a huge attendance to support their affiliate.  It was so amazing and inspiring for the athletes competing to have such a large support from their family.

We thought it would be fun to ask YOU for your ideas on what our CFG 2012 team/spectator shirt should look like.  Time to get out those creative skills and put together a cool lookin T.

We will give a free ticket to CrossFit Regionals for the person who`s t-shirt design we use.

How do I enter the contest?

1. Start designing the front and back of a t-shirt with the CrossFit logo present

2. Pick the colour of the T-Shirt

3. Create the shirt on your computer and save it in a JPEG or gif file.  If you are not computer savvy, draw it on paper and then take a picture of it.

Guidelines:

  • No more than 3 colours in the print on the t-shirt including the logo
  • No more than 3 different sections of the shirt can have printing, including the logo

4. You have until April 4th to get your submission in!

5. Then we will vote on the best T-shirt

Once the final design is picked, we will be able to quote the price of the T-shirts!

Today`s Workout:

Buy In – 2 rounds of – 25 single skips, 10 kettlebell swings, 10 kb thrusters, 10 double crunch

Then: 5 x 1 reps of Thrusters increasing weight each set working up and above the weight you are using in the workout

WOD – “CFG Open WOD 12.5”

7 min AMRAP of:
3 thrusters (65/100), 3 ctb pullups
6 thrusters, 6 pullups
9 thrusters, 9 pullups….
and so on, increasing by 3 reps each round until the time runs out

* Chest MUST touch the bar on the pullups for them to count
* Ear visible in front of the arms at top of thruster
* Full depth squat each rep on thrusters

Zone 4:  scale to regular pullups
Zone 3:  scale to 55/75lb thrusters
Zone 2:  scale to 45/65lb thrusters, assisted pullups
Zone 1:  scale as needed

Cash Out – MWOD

* Lat stretch with rubber band
* Couch stretch
* Pigeon stretch
