It’s Getting Hot In Here!

Seeing as it getting mighty hot in the box its time to talk again about WATER!

Few things to ponder:

1) Why is water important?

Water is the most abundant thing in our body. It aides all of the metabolic processes and allows for the absorption and excretion of electrolytes, vitamins and minerals, and waste products. It also helps to regulate body temperature

2) How much should i be drinking?

Use your weight in kilograms and divide that number in two. For example, I weigh 68kg so i should be drinking 34 ounces of water every day that i am not working out. If i am including a wod in i would increase that number.

3)Does it all have to be just water?

No, water can come from things like fruits and veggies, other beverages, and meat. However, your body won’t mind if you eat all those things and drink the required amount of water

Since things are starting to heat up try and come to the gym hydrated. Your body will thank you!
