We are still tallying up the reps from February`s results. But in the meantime…
The skill of the month for March is double unders!!!! This is a very important skill for the Open competition, so we want to make sure that you are all super awesome at it 😉 We are taking a different approach this year compared to last year when we had this skill. This time it is max reps in 90 seconds. Can you keep stringing reps together when your shoulders get fatigued? Coaches make sure that each athlete has a judge to count their reps.
Quick tips:
- Jump on the balls of your feet, don`t land flat footed or you will waste a lot of energy
- Your jump is the same as your single unders. No donkey or salmon kicks
- It`s all in the wrists! Quick flick to get the rope around faster. Think of it as a hand shake.
- Keep your body relaxed, but tight in the midline
- Don`t stress!
