hey zoners,
the games today (saturday) we fabulous and inspiring! the 6 zoner athletes did so well. most had prs in every lift in the first workout. after the 1st event, lucas was placed 2nd and kendal was 3rd and krista was 4th. this was 1rm lifting wod.
krista had a dl pr of 290, steve had a clean of 190, kendall added 10lbs to her clean for 150. heather pulled off some gutsy lifts with a clean of 125 and a backsquat of 195, coach dee got a clean of 130lbs!
Shannon was a tough and fair judge but also got some time to cheer on the zone athletes!
the second workout was killer! AMRAP 5mins of 7-7-7 box jumps, burpees and kb swings. the crew was working on their magic kb swings-everyone was looking fast. i have never seen the zone crew (and all the other athletes) so spent as after this wod. lucas was the top male zoner and coach dee the top female. results are available on:

i didn’t get to see the row but looks like jer pulled off 1st.
It was great to see everyone giving it there all, seeing what their “events” are and struggle through their goats.
I am trying to get some pics up on flickr tonight so you can see the event. Can’t wait until tomorrow. Wanted to also say the zone had great support-Michelle, Donald, Tori and Tara were all out there supporting our team! Great work all!
i also wanted to note that judging on the box jumps was tough and zoners had a little work to do. we can learn a lot from a competition like this and really should work hard on getting perfect form!
