Saturday Team Throwdown

Upcoming Salminar…. What is a Salminar??

Our very own Dr. Kristine Salmon will be  helping us all with our mobility on Monday October 29th, 7:45 pm  and Monday November 5th 7:45.

You will learn:

* how to create core stability: exercise prescription

* how much mobility is required for safe movement: stretches and movements to gain mobility

* testing weak/tight muscles and weak/long muscles

* basic mobility pre/post workout stretch and strengthening

$20.00 per class, maximum 15 students per class, you can register online.

 

Today’s Workout:

Buy In – Pistols 5 x 10 reps

WOD – “Team Thrusting Fun”

In Teams of 4, complete:
200 Thrusters (65/95)

EMOTM,  you must stop and the whole team does 5 burpees.
Only one person can work at a time.
The workout begins with 5 burpees

Zone 3 – scale thruster to 55/75
zone 2 – scale thruster to 45/65
Zone 1 – scale thruster weight as needed, scale reps as needed

Cash Out -Easy 500M or 1000M row to cool down, then Couch stretch 2-3 minutes per side, then roll out the glutes with a lacrosse ball
