Strength Cycle!

You may be noticing a pattern developing: 5’s, 3’s, 2’s, deload. 5’s, 3’s, 2’s, deload. 5’s, 3’s, 2’s, deload. It’s almost as if we’re trying to do something over and over on purpose….Yes, we are trying to get stronger. Every 4 weeks we begin a new strength cycle. Hopefully you’re tracking your weights and making some progress. If not, start today!

The goal is to add a couple pounds every cycle. If you’re new to weight training, the gains will come fast and easy once you’ve got the techniques down. They slow down a bit, but keep at it! Try to add a little weight every time, and if you’re totally plateau’d, talk to your coach and figure out what needs to be changed to keep the improvements coming.
