The Week Ahead

As we stumble in to the new year, we will see an increase in the amount of volume, as well as a reduction in the variety of exercises we are performing each day. It is time for us to narrow our focus to those things we will most likely be seeing in the impending CrossFit Open. This means toes-to-bars, wall balls, muscle ups, pull ups, thrusters, burpees, double unders, high rep Olympic lifts…all of your favorite things.

We still have several months until the Open proper begins, so continue the path of technique before intensity. Build QUALITY volume and continue the skill development process. Just because the clock is running doesn’t mean you should throw technique in the crapper and go nuts. Measured intensity and proper execution will lead to greater gains.

I GUARANTEE IT.
