Toes to Bar tips

Are you having trouble stringing your toes to bar together?  Are you swinging too much after your first rep?  Take a look at the video below by Chris Spealler giving a few quick tips that might just turn the light bulb on for your and help you rock at the movement.

As you are doing the movement, it is very important to set the shoulder into external rotation for safety and healthy shoulders.  The cue is bend the bar apart.  Think about all the fun we had doing strict pullups,  all the same cues apply.  (1) Hollow body position, (2) Bend the bar apart, and (3) Retract the shoulder blades and push down on the bar.

Building this shoulder and core strength will help you with your strict press 😉

Have fun!
