It is a New Year, so that means lots of new achievements…. Before thinking about what our goals are for 2013, it is important to look back at the Goals that we made for 2012 and reflect on the journey to reaching them and congratulate yourself on all of your achievements.
Did you achieve your goals? If so, which ones? Did you enjoy the journey to reaching your goals? Did you exceed your expectations? In hindsight, what would you have done differently?
Please share with the rest of your family by posting in the comments section 🙂
Now that you have recognized your achievements of 2012 and shared them with your family, let’s take some time to layout what you want to accomplish in 2013. We have chatted about this in class at the beginning of January, but now it is time to write it down. Please be honest with yourself about the realistic expectations for the year to come. Make a goal that you can hold yourself accountable to achieving. Create S.M.A.R.T. Goals: make them Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely.
Find someone to share your goals with, either it be a family member, friend or your Coach. It is very important to share it with someone so they can help keep you accountable for the hard work that your goal will take. Is it time to book a Goal setting session with your Coach?
Good luck to everyone!
