Where are the Yogi’s?

We had our first ever Yoga class at the Zone last Monday! We had a great turnout for Sandra with 10 people.   It was a very relaxing class, I know that I slept really well that night.  It was so relaxing that Freddimeyer was snoring during the class lol!

For those that did not make it to the FREE trial class…  don’t worry,  your first Yoga class will be FREE!

Yoga Schedule:

Hatha Yoga – Monday – 7:45pm – 8:45pm

Power Yoga – Friday – 10:45am – 11:45am

DOWNdawg Yoga – TBA

Hatha Yoga is to achieve balance between the body and the mind through Asanas (physical poses), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation.

Hatha is a slower paced yoga practice that will allow you to stretch into different areas of the body that are often tight and neglected enabling for prana (life force or energy) to flow into these areas allowing one to gain an increase in flexibility and strength while relaxing the body and the mind. Through continued practice you will also learn healthy breathing patterns and relaxation exercises. The practice of Hatha yoga can also help you to manage stress, relieve tension and may also alleviate anxiety and depression.

Power Yoga is physically challenging, but suitable for all levels/hands-on adjustments/not suitable for pregnant clients/predominantly sun salutation based.

You’ll leave this class feeling challenged, invigorated and relaxed! Attending regular classes will strengthen core muscles, improve flexibility in the spine, increase breath capacity and awareness.

This is a faster moving class that incorporates sun salutations as well as occasional inversions and challenging postures. Due to the vigorous nature and pace of the class we do not recommend it to our prenatal or injured clients. Each class ends with a relaxation and mantra music.

We offer the chance to get into your favorite yoga flow sequences, get your heart rate pumping while rocking to electric beats all class long.
