Rememberance Day

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Buy In – focus on a Goat / Weakness for 15 minutes

WOD – “Hero Workout”

Choose one of the Hero workouts to do and scale as needed.

  2. hmmm. i didn’t know that the crossfit heros workouts were named after fallen soldiers.
    i usually swear at joshie and the like for giving me a miserable workout-i think i will smile through them as a reminder of the people they were and the happieness that i get to do this workout. something unfortunately they will not do again.
    i will take some time out at 11 in honour

  3. Thanks for the shout out Sean! I think it’s awesome that we will all be out there doing this run…mostly non-runners, running! Yay crossfit!

    If I get a chance to do the Hero WOD today…I think I’ll go for JT. Love handstand push-ups and REALLY need to work on my dips.
