Gang,

Fun times arrive on Saturday and it looks like it’s going to be a cracker of a day.  We’re going to experiment with some new moves to increase your exercise repertoire and spice up the variety a bit.  Check out the wod below, then come out and join the sun and fun!

Today’s Workout

Buy-in:  1 Arm Kettlebell Press – 4 x 5

  • build up in weight, work weaker arm first
  • develop comfort in the “rack” position?

WOD:  “Get Flipped”

Get a partner for this one, someone who will be doing the same Zone as you!  This is a station workout in which you will get 2 minutes at each station to accumulate reps.  There will be a 1 min break between stations.

Team name theme – superheroes!

Station 1:  Lying Rope climbs

Station 2:  Tire Flips

Station 3:  Med Ball slams

Station 4:  Accuracy Ball Toss

All stations will be scaled to ability, total reps count!

Cash-Out:  Burpee-Broad Jump relay race (3 laps of gym floor)
