Support Kyle and Krista in the Great Lake Walk and help raise money for Cancer research and patient support. The run is this Saturday at Lake Cowichan, and I am sure they would appreciate some Zoners out there cheering them on-for info on the route, see:
If you can’t make it out or even if you can, they are not just doing a 56km run for fun-they are also raising funds to help people with cancer! Please donate through Kyle’s friend Steves Cops for Cancer page:

This Sunday is our 5th Zone Games, come out and compete, volunteer or just cheer your friends on. Wednesday is the last day to register and if you are available to help out, please email Coach Dee.
Sunday is also bittersweet, we will be having drinks to wish our family members-Eric Brown and Meagan Timney goodbye and goodluck as they move to San Francisco and into the next stages in their career. QOD: What has been your favourite zone event and why? What would you like to see us do in the future? (please post in comments)

Favourite zone event was Wilderness Wod (I'm slightly biased) 🙂 but any day I get to climb a tree, swim in a lake and tan on a beach is a great day in my books!
Also, is anyone going to Cowichan to chear on Kyle and Krista? And if you are going do you have room for Me and Tisha? Let us know, we're still figuring out what we're going to be doing that day.
Favorite event so far was Track Day at Vic High! Fun team events plus bbq and sun = a good day. Any day we get outside and do something different is fun, though!
Maybe I'm a little biased, but I think a dance class would be fun! I'll look around for some community classes 🙂
I enjoyed the 24 hour treadathon, but I don't think Rob and Donald plan on doing that ever again!
so what about you chris? i know you could do it!
Taranis Winter Challenge registration full! 100 individual competitors from BC, AB, and Washington (and maybe a few other places…). Getting real folks!
Events-wise, I think we've run a lot of fun ones… Track day was definitely awesome (aside from shredding my hamstring… ouch!) and (biased of course) each and every Zone Games have been good times. Ditto with the 24hr treadathlon – watching Don and Rob plough through those km's was awesome and inspiring (don't blame them if they don't want to do it again!!!).
