Here is a relevant and interesting article that was published on the ESPN website, all about the merits of the revolutionary Paleo Diet. Have a read:

There are plenty of guys in the NFL who are roughly 6-foot-6 and 300 pounds. But it was the fact that John Welbourn had 8 percent body fat that made the New England Patriots’ locker room take notice.

“When I was in New England [during the ’08 preseason] a bunch of the guys saw the way I ate and asked a lot of questions. So I ended up writing out some diet stuff for them,” Welbourn said. “They were pretty interested.”

As they should be.

Welbourn, a 10-year NFL veteran, had just introduced them to the Paleo Diet, more popularly referred to as the “Caveman Diet.” But don’t let the catchy name fool you — there’s plenty of science behind it.

  1. how many zones are there now cam? i am getting confused

yeah this is one of those wods where it is more fun to watch lucas do it then actually do it yourself…

have fun, i am enjoying my rest day

  2. If anyone is super keen to register for the RVM 8K (Thanksgiving) the early bird entry fees are $30 if you register by May 15th. I’ve created a team (CrossFit Zone) which you can join, it’s not as formal as the TC10K’s team challenge, but still fun.
If you register by July 15th the entry fee is $35, then $40 after that.

  3. Oh darn… it is my rest day today 🙂 Scoots will you come in at 4:30pm to do the WOD so I can watch!

  4. Ughh, I just got back from a 3+ hour battle at Ian Stewart. I probably will do the 530, if not the 630 class tonight, D… I need some rest

  5. I think we need to talk about your spelling Jer!

My rest day is including “getting a muscle up” (gonna try) and doing box squats haha!
