I hope that everyone is enjoying the new home of the Zone. We appreciate your patience while we are finishing up the renovations. We are very sorry for how they have inconvenienced you. We are completing the final renovations on the bathrooms, offices and cleaning up the gym asap. I can tell you that it will all be worth the wait 😉
I wanted to send out a special thanks to everyone who worked hard behind the scenes and are still working to make our new box awesome! The crew over the last 3 weeks has been:

- Sandy
- Art (Deanna’s step Dad)
- Brigit
- Greg
- Dino
- Scott
- Harrison
- Lindsay M
- Lucas
- Chris (Deanna’s br0)
- May
- Craig
- Warren
- Katie & Lisa (brought us dinner :D)
- Malcolm (Deanna’s step brother)

- Deanna
If you see any of these Zoners in the gym, please give them a thanks! It is times like this that makes me realize how amazing our Zone community is and how special our family is. One thing that my Dad could not get over was how many people just stopped by the gym over the week he was here to lend a helping hand. He was so impressed with the community that we have created.
Thanks again!
QOD: What was your favourite moving moment? Scoots carrying 185 lbs to the new zone? trying to get tires across the street? trying to find a bathroom on the first day of the new gym? Please post to comments!

My favorite moment was carrying a barbell down the street with Dave B and stopping to do front squats at each corner. It was a random act of fitness!
Favorite moment was running back to get more stuff behind Wendy. As she passed two guys coming out of White Spot I watched as they did a double/triple take to check her out in her spandex!
hearing about that was my favourite moment 😉 I also enjoyed seeing Sean and somebody else, can't remember who, carrying the couch down the street, overhead.
i liked when allan and dub spent about 45mins trying to get the heater up, moving ladders, requesting jer move the pullup bars, and finally admitted defeat so jer came over and it was up within a few minutes-although not done by safety officer allans standards
"sorry for inconveniencing me"??? Wut?
I get to do fun workouts with fun people in a bright, new space (with an oh-so-fun hill to run up and down).
So there's no bathroom yet – everybody's mum told them to pee before leaving the house.
Have we forgotten that important life lesson?
Don't sweat it D – you and everybody who pitches in are doing fabulously.
Totally agree with Jim! Well put!
Thanks Jim. That's the spirit. CrossFit gets you ready for any challenges in life, right? Even holding it 😉
And I totally meant to add to the post the amazing Friday moving crew. You were all a great help and it was so amazing to see everything moved by hand… even couches and cabinets etc. Thank you!
