Trick or Treat?

Happy Halloween, Zoners!

Just a reminder that we are having a dress up workout on Saturday, October 29th at the 10:00 a.m. class.  Make sure to bring a costume or the penalty is burpees!!! Be prepared for a sugar rush after the workout.  For those of you that are on a strict Paleo diet, feel free to bring a Paleo Halloween treat to share with the group.

The 9:00am class will be running as usual.  You are not required to workout in a costume, but they are welcomed!

Today’s 9:00am Workout:

Buy In – Make sure that you are warm before class time begins. Find a partner and come up with a name, theme: Halloween (of course)

WOD – Torture Chamber”

AMRAP in 30 minutes

  • 400M Zombie escape run
  • 5  Vomit makers (20/35)
  • 10 Dead body lifts (155/215)
  • 15 Bloody weapon swings (35/55)

Zone 2 – scale weights as needed

Zone 1 – scale workout as needed

You will complete your Zombie escape run with your partner in crime, once both of you have arrived back in the gym, you will complete the next exercises in relay style.  Partner 1 completes 5 vomit makers, partner 2 completes 5 vomit makers.  Then you move to the next station in the same fashion.  Once both partners have completed the bloody weapon swings, you will escape on your Zombie run together.

Cash Out – Check out the costumes in the next class and feast on some candy!!

Today’s 10:00am Workout:

Buy In – Get warm before class begins and check out all the great costumes.   Then, the coach will split the class into two teams.  Come up with a team name – theme: Halloween

WOD – “Trick or Treat”

It is a Surprise!!!!

Scoring – Max Points in 30 minutes

Cash Out – Team Dance off to Halloween Music. Get a sugar rush… 😉
