Just a reminder that we’re having  Part 1 of our Elemental Gymnastics Seminar this coming Saturday, July 18th. The seminar is from 11:15am to 1:15pm, and it is bound to be a good time!

The seminar will cover the basic CrossFit ring movements.  We will be going over such elements as

  • Proper support positions.
  • Different styles of Dips
  • False Grip Chin-ups
  • Muscle-ups
  • Front and Back Levers
  • Shoulder Stands

For those interested, there will also be an opportunity to explore and try some more advanced moves!

Also, we will be holding Part 2 of our Elemental Gymnastics Seminar this upcoming Wednesday, July 22nd. This seminar will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm, and will cover the basics of body positions and progressions.  It will focus on:

  • endurance training
  • wrist strengthening
  • proper entry of kicking and tucking into an un-supported handstand.

There will also be an opportunity for those interested to try some more advanced moves.  We will go over hand stand pushups with and without a wall, as well as other variations, such as press handstands.

Members $25 (varying membership discounts apply) / Non Members $40

15 Hollow Rocks
200 m Run

Zone 3:  scale to 10 Ring Pushups (progressions)

Zone 2: scale to 15 Regular Pushups, and 15 Double Crunch

Zone 1: scale to 15 Modified Pushups, and 15 Ab-Mat Sit-ups

Cash-Out: Cartwheels – 5 rounds, 3 per side
