Hey all competitors – remember to pack your long socks just in case there is a rope climb!!! Also there is a definite possibility of a run and it will go rain or shine, so come prepared (gloves might be a good idea for any obstacles too!).
Looking forward to throwing down with all the individuals and cheering on the teams!
I think friday is not going to be a run, I am guessing sat morning will be a run. But I guess we shall see.
Good luck folks!
I hope its smashing a golf ball for max distance
Running and ?… I’m thinking theyll have a shorter run of 3km or less and put something else high rep in there.
Hey I just tried on my Cameron Law Corporation sponsored clothing – wow! Thanks Heather and Bob!
oh and for tonight – my guess is either a short metcon 3-4 rounds or 7min… OR max snatch plus max reps hspu in a 10 min time cap…
Psychic!!
Yup, as of 1pm (see time stamp above)!!! shoulda posted on the taranis wall!
I just registered, and it looks like those walls are going to be part of WOD one based on where they were sitting in the gym, and they don't look stable enough to climb on, so I'm saying HSPU.
For competitors, when you register, bring some photo ID, and don't loose the wrist band in your goodie bag, since it is your ticket in.
Yeah HSPU's!!!! What about throwing sandbags over it?
haha, there was a sledge hammer next to them all too, and my first thought was destroying them for time… but they don't have 120, so it's probably not that.
Good luck, everyone!!
Just picked up my tix for the nights events, no line ups there right now, and it's of the hand stamp variety.
Sending all my thoughts to the Zoners competing, will be cheering from the trail as I'm a bit disappointed in the pay to spectate model they've adopted…
Hope you all crush it!
Just downloaded ustream app for my phone. I will try to get some live coverage. Search ustream crossfit zone
Going to try and get some live footage from the Taranis Winter Challenge. Check out this link throughout the weekend: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/taranis-winter-chal…
Hey guys, so people were able to get tickets tonight-there isn’t a lot of room really. If someone wants to stop in for a short while, send me and email and you may be able to snag my pass

Best of luck to all our competitors- I hope to get to see many of you perform but I'll have to see about the ticket situation, however,I will be thinking of you amazing athletes over the weekend and sending some serious positive vibes!! I definitely feel some Zone crushing goin' on……..
Seriously Cam, how did you know what the first wod was going to be…. you've got some skillz!
Okay people-so you have two am options:
if you want day tickets-go early to taranis ~7 as tickets go on sale at 730. when there, you will get to watch the first team event taking place at equimalt track
if you don't want day tickets but would like to see an event you have two options:
1. go the esquimalt track (across the street from the taranis gym to watch the team event (starts at 730?)
2. head to clover point to see the individuals run the 5km at 8am
