CrossFit Victoria BC - What are you putting on your skin?
Are you putting chemicals on your skin?

We are very worried about what we put in our mouth on a daily basis… everything from food, drink and chemicals that we breathe in.  Is it Organic?  Is it processed?

But what are you putting on your skin?  Do you have any idea of the type of chemicals that are penetrating into your body through your skin? Have you ever taken a look at the chemicals that are in your cosmetics? your toothpaste? your perfume?

Take a look at this list below and see if any of your products contain these chemicals and what hazardous effects  they have on your body…

1.  Aluminum – Carcinogen, developmental/reproductive toxicity, industry safety warnings, irritants, and other dangers.

2.  Benzyl Alcohol – Carcinogen, allergens, developmental/reproductive toxicity, industry safety warnings, irritants, and other dangers.

3.  BHT – Carcinogen, allergen, developmental/reproductive toxicity, irritant, and other dangers.

You may ask what you should use because all of your products contain at least one of these toxins.  Take a look at the products that are at health food stores, they usually don’t have these chemicals in them.  For facial care, I use a product called Glimpse that has all natural ingredients.
